The cathodic protection is one of the remedies to the corrosion of the metals in underground and marine enviroment. Used technique consists of polarizing the metal structure making it cathodic, changing of the potential.

  PASSIVE CATHODIC PROTECTION
     (with sacrificial anodes)

The Foundry Pietro Possani put itself in the market as a company specialized in the production of  passive cathodic protection systems, by means of sacrificial anodes.
 A traditional application of the cathodic protection is that for external surfaces of pipelines or the steel reserviors  buried or immersed in seawater.
Even the interior surfaces of structures such as water heaters and boilers can be subjected to cathodic protection .
